Magic In the Air was published in the same year as Run for Home but recorded on Christmas Eve 1977. It's their only double album and contains material from their first three records. Of great interest is the cover and especially the inner sleeve with prints of articles from the British Press regarding their City Hall concerts.

Sleeve notes
On the 21st of December 1977 Lindisfarne walked on the stage for the first of of five
concerts at Newcastle City Hall. The concerts were more than an event.
They were an historic occasion.
The electric atmosphere, the magic in the air, the music and the audience added up to
an event that no-one present will ever forget.
